7/7 7 p.m. - Flash Flood Warning in Fourmile Burn Area

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect in the Fourmile Burn Area. Intense storms are expected to continue moving through the area.

6/30 - 9 a.m. - Coffintop Fire updates

The Coffintop Fire continues to burn in a remote part of northern Boulder County, west of Lyons.

The fire is 40 acres and five percent contained.

The U.S. Forest Service has taken command and will be responsible for ongoing updates on firefighting operations.

Boulder County's Hall Ranch Open Space is closed until further notice.

No evacuations or road closures have been ordered.

6/29 - 8:17 p.m. - Wildfire health advisory for Coffintop Fire

It is difficult to predict the condition of air quality related to current the fire. If you are concerned about the health affects of smoke, please review the Wildfire Health Advisory issued by Boulder County Public Health.

6/29 - 7:43 p.m. - Update on fire size of Coffintop Fire

Incident Command says fire size is between 20-30 acres. They are making good progress with air support. Hand crews are being sent in to help with fire breaks.

6/29 - 6:30 p.m. - Neighborhood alert sent out

Emergency notification messages were sent to approximately 15 residences, alerting those households to be prepared to evacuate if necessary. Notification was sent to residents in the vicinity of Spruce Rd. and Conifer Hill Rd. north of Hwy. 7/S. St. Vrain Dr.
