Boulder Community Preparedness Council

The Boulder Office of Emergency Management facilitated the kickoff meeting for the newly-formed Boulder Community Preparedness Council (BCPC) on February 3, 2011.  Thirty individuals representing 21 different agencies and departments attended the meeting, and participated in a lively discussion about community preparedness.  The goal of the BCPC is to foster collaboration between government, non-governmental organizations, non-profits organizations, Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs) and community members to provide the best is community services before, during and after a disaster.
