Boulder Community Hospital Mapleton and Maxwell facilities are being evacuated by 11:30 a.m. No patients should come to the either out patient facility. There are no evacuations scheduled at this time for Boulder Community Hospital on N. Broadway.
Boulder Humane Society and the Longmont Humane Society (domestic, small animals) and the Boulder County Fairgrounds (large animals, livestock) are accepting animals. Just come by.
The Fairgrounds in Longmont is accepting large animals and livestock now and throughout the weekend and has plenty of room. Evacuees should go to the east parking lot and do not need to call ahead. For more information, call (303) 579-6718 or (303) 514-2346.
Best way to enter is from Nelson Road onto the driveway next to the Humane Society. Staff will be headquartered in the Indoor Arena.
