A heavy air tanker is in operation today to support fire fighting efforts.

The goal for today's operations is to allow all residents to return to their homes by the end of the day.  For that to happen, crews have a lot of work to do to clear brush and make the area between the evacuated homes and the fire safe enough to call off the evacuation.  Power also continues to be out for the homes that are evacuated.
