Rain and flooding threats to diminish overnight

National Weather Service forecasts rain through the evening, turning to drizzle by morning. No serious flooding threats are predicted overnight. Boulder County may continue to experience low level (nuisance) flooding on roadways and areal flooding (water rising up from the saturated ground) in some areas.

Looking ahead, NWS forecasts Wednesday afternoon showers and another system coming into range Thursday night into Friday. Then, spotty showers on Saturday and Sunday. Monday, the rain will start to clear out.

Residents should continue to be aware of the potential for rock or mud slide activity in the foothills and canyons. Please report any serious changes to the landscape (road damage, hill slides, excessive creek flooding, etc.) to 9-1-1. Non-emergency calls should be directed to dispatch at 303-441-4444. #COwx #boulderflood #COflood
