The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is going to scale down to a core monitoring group overnight beginning at 7 p.m. The EOC will reopen again for public messaging by 7:30 a.m. on Monday, March 20. Unless the fire grows during the night, any posts to this website will be minimal.
Full firefighting operations will continue overnight within the fire perimeter, and the Incident Command Team will provide another public update by 8 a.m. Monday morning. Structure protection of homes and law enforcement patrols will continue to be active in all evacuated areas throughout the night.
The evacuations and pre-evacuation alerts will remain in place overnight while firefighters continue to fight the #SunshineFire.
