Due to the weather system currently in the area and with a possibility of storms intensifying later this afternoon, siren testing has been canceled for May. Weather permitting the siren testing program will resume next month. All sirens in the public warning system are working and operational.
Red Flag Warning in effect today, March 24. No open burning allowed in Boulder County. A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring or imminent. Penalties for non-compliance are outlined in Ordinance 2014-1.
