Containment is currently at 80% and the size continues to hold at 190 acres.
Firefighters will continue to work the perimeter and then towards the center of the fire. As weather comes in the today the safety of first responders will be a concern, but overall, this is great for the fire. We expect smoke to be visible from this area for at least a few days as the fire dies out.
Approximately 70 firefighters are in the field today. supporting fire suppression efforts. There have been no injuries or structures lost. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
