167 Customers have already had power restored north of the fire location. 1468 Customers including – the town of Nederland – were restored at 6 p.m.

Update at 10 p.m.

Currently, 575 customers in the Nederland area are without power and we are unable to predict when our crews can gain access to the closed areas and begin restoration. Late Saturday, only electric facilities are being impacted but gas facilities are in the proximity. Forecast for tomorrow calls for wind gusts up to 40mph, so the potential for damage to Xcel Energy facilities is significant. Our Trouble Crews will remain on the watch overnight, working to restore power and being available if agencies need them to de-energize power as the fire advances. Additional crews will arrive early tomorrow while engineers are developing a plan of action in anticipation of the fire’s movement. Other first responders are on stand-by.

Customers who are experiencing outages should call customer care at 800-895-1999.‪#‎ColdSpringsFire
